Classic Tempeh Pastrami on Rye

Classic Tempeh Pastrami on Rye comes together in about 10 minutes using our Tempeh Pastrami. It is soy-free, made from fermented chickpeas, and built for an easy weeknight.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Tempeh Pastrami
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 2 tbsp deli mustard
  • dill pickles to serve

Instructions

  1. Warm the Tempeh Pastrami slices in a dry skillet over medium, 2 minutes per side, until hot.
  2. Spread mustard on the rye.
  3. Pile the warm pastrami high, close the sandwich, and serve with pickles.

Tip: Thick, warm slices and good mustard are all this needs.
