Ingredients

  • 4 strips Tempeh Bacon
  • 4 waffles, toasted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • dairy-free butter

Instructions

  1. Warm the Tempeh Bacon in a dry skillet over medium until hot, 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  2. Toast the waffles and butter them.
  3. Stack waffles with bacon between layers and drizzle generously with maple syrup.

Tip: The sweet-smoky contrast is the whole point, do not skip the real maple.
